James A. Goodson III, MD

Dr. Goodson graduated cum laude from Wofford College in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree and attended the University of South Carolina School of Medicine where he received his Doctorate in medicine in 1993. He completed his internship at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in 1994 and his residency in ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA where he served as Chief Resident in 1996.

Dr. Goodson is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, South Carolina Medical Association, and the South Carolina Society of Ophthalmology and is on staff at Tuomey Regional Hospital and Clarendon Memorial Hospital.
